Our family's favourite makan place in kuala kedah 1. Tasty food. We went there many times, the food quality is consistent. I personally love their ikan bakar santan, chili crab and sotong goreng tepung. Real goreng tepung not sotong cucur. Udang butter is made as malay cooking style- sweet and milky so i dont like it. I prefer indian/chinese style. We enjoyed horseshoe crab dish as well. The gulai jenahak top notch. 2. Facilities - Crowded around late evening. Book to secure place. Got surau, parking slot and toilet. Can pay using card too Serving time depends on crowd. If not crowded, quick. Free flow plain water from coway dispenser. 3. Price wise, standard. Be sure to ask the price of the fish before ordering. I recklessly order terubuk bakar, size 1.8kg and charged rm260 for the terubuk alone. But my god, the fish was tastyy, fresh and enough to feed us 5, and i considered worth the penny. Out of budget range but oklah sekali sekala 4. Got busking team. I like quiet and relaxing ambience so I dont really enjoy them blasting the speaker with the singing. Small volume is fine, but too loud in crowded space, no no. I wish i can tell them to Lower the volume. No hate for the singing team, just my preferences.

I was have a dinner close to Surau, with 5 combined table. It's good but I'm disappointed due to uncomfortable smelling. I'm very sure that smelling came from the toilet. So, the restaurant management should do something with it.

Everything was nice and taste good except ikan siakap 3 rasa which does not suit my taste most probably because I feel like it is a bit salty for me but the other ikan bakar petai was so good and the sambal taste really good. Sotong goreng tepung also good.
